Mama Money turns vendor carry cases into street advertising
54 Signals2026
What happened
Mama Money worked with Zimbabwean agency Bergast House on branded carry cases used by street vendors. The design put a financial-services advertiser onto everyday objects moving through local neighbourhoods and was recognised in Zimbabwe’s 2026 outdoor-advertising awards.
Who is behind it
Mama Money commissioned the work, with Bergast House involved in the creative execution. Visual designer Nyasha Lionel Guzha has described his contribution to the graphic patterns.
Why it matters
This is an inventive way to use the city as a medium without relying on a conventional billboard. The object has a practical role for the person carrying it while creating repeated brand visibility.
Beyond the story
The campaign is also an example of how smaller physical design decisions can become memorable advertising.
