What happened
Eritrip sells cultural travel guides, maps, apparel and a family-friendly board game inspired by Eritrea’s cities, traditions and languages. Its current product range turns everyday exploration of heritage into something people can play, wear or give as a gift.
Who is behind it
The Eritrip team describes itself as a brand designed by Eritreans and using photographs and cultural material sourced from within the country. Individual designer names are not published on its product pages.
Why it matters
For the diaspora, cultural products create a practical way to share identity across generations. A guide, game or T-shirt is also a piece of design with a customer, a price and a distribution channel.
Beyond the story
Eritrip shows how cultural knowledge can move beyond an exhibition or event into a range of physical consumer products.
