Wildiana Création takes beadwork skills beyond Bangui
54 Signals2026
What happened
In 2026, Wildiana Création expanded its beadwork training to Bouar, where seven women completed a practical course between 24 August and 12 September. The business also scheduled a Bangui session in October focused on bags, useful objects and the basics of selling a handmade product.
Who is behind it
Entrepreneur Diana Banezom runs Wildiana Création. She works with the women entrepreneurs’ federation FAFECA and local partners to organise hands-on workshops.
Why it matters
The story is about the steps between having a creative skill and earning from it: product design, finishing, pricing, communication and sales. Training outside the capital opens those opportunities to women in other cities.
Beyond the story
The Bouar programme involved a small group of seven learners, allowing the work and the makers to remain visible rather than reducing them to a programme announcement.
